Southern Province
The Southern Province is one of the four provinces of Rwanda, alongside the City of Kigali. It was formed by merging the former prefectures of Gitarama, Butare, and Gikongoro. The province is composed of 8 districts: Kamonyi, Muhanga, Ruhango, Nyanza, Huye, Gisagara, Nyamagabe, and Nyaruguru.
