The campaign to fight armyworm crops parasites has continued in several districts of the Southern Province, where Southern Province officials were also deployed to lay a hand to farmers, Kamonyi had the honor to receive Hon Governor Mme Mureshyankwano Marie Rose, Nyamagabe has hosted Executive Secretary Mr Mushaija Geoffrey and Gisagara, was with The Advisor to the Governor Mr Mazimpaka Jean Claude, today the 05^th of April 2017.

The campaign in Kamonyi like elsewhere, was also attended by security organs, District leaders and farmers who were all looking eager to fight them, and had finished pouring rocket pesticide in the entire Kayumbu marshland located in Musambira and Nyarubaka sectors.

In all delivered messages, leaders urged farmers to tirelessly fight for any parasite and for this particular armyworm they need to buy and use the available pesticide because it is available and affordable, and that fighting these parasites is fighting hanger.

Honorable Governor insisted that, Rwandans are known to winning battles and that all battles that Rwandans have fought and won this must be looking as a small issue, and which can be solved in just a blink of an eye if everyone commits to it.

The same messages were spread in different Districts where the messengers of the Province had gone to give a hand to farmers, and the people were looking committed to fighting armyworm until they are forever gone.

After this activity, Honorable Governor and several teams have received and resolved the public complaints as the day of Wednesday was dedicated to listening and resolving public complaints.
