PARENTS URGED TO HELP THEIR CHILDREN GROW READING AND WRITING THEIR OWN STORIES
This statement was repeatedly emphasized on, during the launching of GIRA IGITABO AHO URI HOSE program, by arise education Rwanda, where this campaign aims at enhancing the culture of reading starting from children. This launch was presided over by Hon Governor Mureshyankwano Marie Rose, with the representative of Arise Education Rwanda Mme Gasana Umutesi, this Thursday the 04th of October 2018 in Nyanza District.
During this launching, leaders had time to listen to written stories by children who are under fourteen years, and were amazed by the message that their stories portray because they reflect to the daily struggles regarding especially the human security issues, fighting corruption, and affirm that, such books will be a very useful tool towards eradication of all those impediments to citizen well-being.
“I was really astonished by the stories, I have listened to from these young ages, it reflects our daily struggles and I am sure it will help us a lot, to boost the campaign fighting all barriers to our people’s well-being. We thank as well Arise Education, for having thought at first to raise this awareness from children because they represent the future of this world. In fact, they are more of bright future sharpeners than just a selling company.” Said Hon Governor.
Also the representative of Arise Education, expressed her gratitude to the Southern Province leadership, for having embraced this campaign, which shows a political will to have a bright future of this country, she also hailed the ownership spirit from the leaders, showing her confidence that there is no doubt the culture of reading and writing will be soon on the other level.
After a fruitful sharing of the children’s written stories, Hon Governor with all participants, have spread the campaign to Nyanza Taxi park, where they distributed books to passengers, in order to spread that reading culture to all, especially those who are really needing it.
