Students from Nyakinama RDF command&staff college students, are operating a study tour in the Southern Province, to learn the contribution of Education policies and programs to peace, security and economic development in Rwanda , where they were hosted by Hon Governor Mme Mureshyankwano Marie Rose, at the Headquarters office of the Southern Province, this Tuesday 06^th of February 2018. In her remark and presentation, Hon Governor and the Executive secretary of the Southern Province, emphasized on some of the vital programs instituted by the Government of Rwanda to strengthen Education for all, underlining especially to girls education, which was early hampered by the bad politics before the Genocide. In their reactions to the above presentation, students were interested to know more the link between quality of education and human security and economic development, where it was explained, with the help of data and success stories in the southern Province. One of the key challenges illustrated, was the lack of insufficient researchers, conducting their researches in African perspectives, basing not on other foreign believes. The representative of the Student, has expressed his gratitude, and of the students in general, for the time granted to them, picked from the busy schedule of the leaders, and clarification about the contribution of education policies and programs to peace and economic development of Rwanda. Also the head of delegation and general coordinator, col Frederic, stated that, it is an honor to learn through field visit, to face the reality on the ground, he also hailed the efforts and the political will to uplift education which contributes to peace, safety and economic transformation.
