This was one of the resolutions of the meeting which brought together, all institutions concerned with water, hygiene and sanitation, to find together how clean water can reach all the people, as recommended in 7years Government program, which says that clean water will have reached all at a 100% by 2024.

The meeting was chaired by Honorable Governor of the Southern Province Mme Mureshyankwano Marie Rose , with WASAC deputy CEO Mrs Gisele UMUHUMUZA, attended by security organs, water private operators, Districts and WASAC agents, and held in Muhanga this Thursday 21^st of September 2017.

All presentations made by the Districts, were illustrating the problem of water management, And how it is related to hygiene and sanitation, because water is the foundation of all, where the problems was basically on water management and maintenance of water infrastructure.

The Deputy CEO of WASAC, pledged to clear their part and invest in all necessary efforts to get a rid of all these above illustrated problem, but also requested the Local Government to play their role in supervision of water infrastructure.

Water private operators were also requested, to follow the rule and respect the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed with, in order to supply water to all and on a fair price.

Hon Governor closed the meeting, thanking all participants, for pleasant resolution, asking everyone to play his role unreservedly, so that clean water may reach all, warning them also, that whoever will be caught red handed, doing contrary to the above resolution will be held accountable.
