FESPAD 2018 CLOSED WITH EXTRAORDINARY PRESENTATION
The 10th edition of pan Africanism Festival of the Dances was closed this 02nd of August 2018, in Nyanza District, with extra ordinary presentations from various presentations of cultural dances form participants coming from different countries, in Rukari palace known as Rwandan Cultural base.
The rites which were presided over by Honorable Minister of culture and Sport in Rwanda, Mme Julienne Uwacu, with Madame Astrid Madiya Ntumba, the Minister of culture and Art in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mr Abdou Latif Coulibaly, The Governor of the Southern Province, The Mayor of Nyanza District and many other local and security leaders.

During this closing ceremony, countries participants have had enough time to present their cultures through dances, and demonstrated to the public the innovations that the cultures hold, and the groups present were from DRC, Burkinafaso, Senegal, and Rwanda as hosting country.
In all speeches of the representatives of the countries participants, they saluted the outstanding organization of this 10th Edition of FESPAD 2018, the quick reconstruction of the country after the 1994 Genocide against Tutsis, the resilience and Good leadership found in Rwanda, and the country’s beautiful landscape.
In her speech, Mme Minister Julienne Uwacu, the guest of Honor she expressed her heartfelt thanks to the countries that participated into this 10th Edition of FESPAD, emphasizing that African culture is the treasure that Africa holds and it should be the source of unity and prosperity.
The ceremonies ended Hon Minister of culture and sport in Rwanda awarding all the participants, the certificate of participation and appreciation, wishing them safe journey back to their homes.
