Eric Munyakazi who is now 11 years old as a Southern Province employee, serving as an accountant, was voted by his colleagues as the 2016/2017 employer of the year, who had been showing an outstanding character, assiduity and enthusiasm throughout the year, this rite has happened during the Labor Day this Monday 01^st of May 2017.

Eric was congratulated by Hon Governor Mme Mureshyankwano Marie Rose, saying, he merits to be the one and urging him to keep the resilience and diligence,  and the rest will fall in line, she again congratulated the entire staff of the Southern Province for their tireless service to the people, reminding them that, their success is the success of the entire province.

During his speech, the former employee of the year Mr Kabera Vedaste, who serves as the Director of Good Governance and Social affairs, he also congratulated the newly elected employee of the year, reminding him that the crown is a challenge, to keep the performance outstanding and to strive to have it always.

Munyakazi Eric has been the employee of the southern Province, since the creation of the Provinces, and had been recently conferred an award of excellence as the longest serving employee.
