This used to sound impossible or so hard to achieve, but with the efforts invested in to diminish high risk zone victims, this motto is possible as per testimonies from, beneficiaries of modern settlement commonly known as IDP model villages, who seem to be saved from death risks rooted from high risk zone settlements.

This is also being confirmed, by the authority of the Southern Province, as they tour all IDP model villages, which are under construction, and have now reached the finishing and polishing stages in all Districts.

So far, in this week starting from 23^rd of August, various IDP model villages have been visited in Districts, where Honorable Governor, Mme MURESHYANKWANO Marie Rose, was visiting Horezo IDP in Muhanga District and was amazed by the work so far done, and happy and confident that the polishing work will also not take long.

The journey was the same being exercised by the executive secretary of the Province, Mr Geoffrey MUSHAIJA, ashe was touring IDP model villages from Huye in simbi Sector and IDP from Mamba Sector in Gisagara District.

All the remarks are, to fast truck the remaining works, in order to officially hand those houses and other infrastructures to the beneficiaries as soon as possible, it was in this regard that the Reserve Force, which is the executing firm was also saluted for the resilience.

IDP Model villages, is the implementation of Rwandan policy, of eradicating the risks of death to vulnerable people living in a high risk zone, where various modern houses are constructed and given to them, with other basic infrastructures such as, clean water, electricity, health centers and schools.
