The District Council on February the 17th, 2012 approved the instauration of the “One Stop Center” in Huye district in order to boost good service delivery.

This special meeting of the council decided the centre will combine the land and settlement bureau, the infrastructure and environment bureau seeing that these organs are the most needed by district’s clients.

The centre will have a coordinator to harmonize all the activities, while other officers will work as professionals eligible to serve the needs of each client according to the field they want the service from.

The centre is expected to solve the problem of clients who before were confused in knowing where they can get served. As One Stop Center will be established, clients will immediately get informed of someone who may serve them without going to each office asking who can serve them.
