"WE ALL HAVE TO LEARN FROM THE BEST PRACTICES", SAYS MADAM JEANNE IZABILIZA
Muhanga, 21th November, 2011 This Monday 21 November 2011 in Muhanga District started a 3 days Public Accountability of the partners in the development of this District.

The opening ceremonies of this Public Accountability day were attended by different senior leaders of the Southern Province including The Executive Secretary of this Province Madam Jeanne IZABILIZA, The Mayor of Muhanga District Madam Yvonne MUTAKWASUKU, The Vice Mayor in charge of Finance, Economy and Development in Muhanga District Mr. Francois UHAGAZE, The Army and Police Commanders among others.
In her speech to welcome visitors, the Mayor of Muhanga District highlighted that they are determined to promote the culture of presenting the achievements to the public and involve them in the activities that they are beneficiaries in order to promote the culture of transparency and this will happen every year.
This Accountability Day that has 35 stands has brought together different business operators that work in Muhanga District, Cooperatives, Non Governmental Organizations both local and International and Banks with the participation rate of 70%.
The Executive Secretary of the Southern Province Madam Jeanne IZABILIZA congratulated the leadership of Muhanga District, the population of this District and its partners for the joint efforts that they have used to make this Accountability Day to be a success.
Madam Jeanne IZABILIZA urged all the participants to make this activity theirs and called them to learn from this example of Muhanga District and share it with others and promote the culture of working hand in hand with others in cooperatives for a quick and sustainable development.
