Since 2009, the Southern Province has been rewarding different decentralized levels in order to encourage them to work harder and ask others to take example from the best ones in order to accelerate the development starting from the grass root levels.

In 2009, different best performers were given rewards. These include: Amagaju football team, Primary and Secondary Schools, Kamonyi Athletic team, Coffee planting cooperatives among others.

In 2010, 32 Cells( 4 per District) were given laptops in order to facilitate them to work as professionals and ease their quick access to the Information.

In this year 2011, 32 best performer Villages were offered bicycles in order to facilitate them to move around their Villages and reach different corners of their respective Villages and reach the population.

Also, this Saturday September 24th 2011, on the Community Works commonly known as "UMUGANDA" the best performer on this activity at the Provincial level and the second on the National , the Musange Sector which has cultivated pineapples that covers a 4 hectares, will be given a reward of 1,000,000 Rwf.

As it is shown in this text, this is a continuous action which will continue even in different institutions in order to keep encouraging each and everyone to work hard with a clear vision, learning the best practices among other.
