INVESTORS ARE WELCOME IN THE SOUTHERN PROVINCE
Muhanga, 14th September, 2011 This Tuesday 13th September, 2011 in the afternoon hours, the Governor of the Southern Province Mr. Alphonse MUNYANTWALI visited some of the investment sites located in Muhanga District.
In this work visit , Mr. Alphonse MUNYANTWALI was accompanied by different senior officials of the Southern Province including the Provincial Executive Secretary Madam Jeanne IZABILIZA, the Army and Police Commanders on the Provincial Level, the Mayor of MUHANGA District Madam Yvonne MUTAKWASUKU among others.
At his arrival in Muhanga District, Governor Alphonse MUNYANTWALI visited Mubuga Cell, Shyogwe Sector where there will be built a Hardware Industry for steel bars and other hardware items.
Addressing to the media, Honorable Governor called upon all the investors both local and international to invest in the Southern Province because there much opportunities, potential and guaranteed security.
Another site that was visited is a place where Queen KANKAZI, wife of King MUSINGA and mother OF King MUTARA III RUDAHIGWA used to live. As you will see it on the photos, this place is located in Nyarucyamu Village, Mubuga Cell, Shyogwe Sector, Muhanga District, Southern Province.
It is a very attractive area because it is an open space on a hilltop designated to accommodate an entertainment and cultural center for women in a very near future.
From there Governor Alphonse MUNYANTWALI visited a place in Munyinya Village, Ruli Cell, Shyogwe Sector still in Muhanga District where 187 high and medium standing houses will be built in a modern resettlement site for people from Muhanga and other corners of the country will buy plots and build living houses.
In this Village and while addressing to the press, Governor Alphonse MUNYANTWALI highlighted that " We must live in modern resettlement sites where its is easy to maintain security , promote hygiene, easy access to infrastructure among others".
