This Sunday 19 June 2011 at Muhanga Regional Stadium started tournament among all the Districts of the Southern Province for the Promotion of Culture of Good Governance.

On this day, all the 8 Districts played in order to get 4 that will play the semi final. The first match opposed Nyaruguru and Huye District and the score was 1-0 in favor of Nyaruguru District while the one between Nyanza and Ruhango District ended with the success of Nyanza that won the game with 1-0.

The third match was between Nyamagabe District and Muhanga which ended up with 0 on both sides but in penalty kicks Nyamagaye got 4 goals against 3 of Muhanga District while in the fourth one which was also the last opposes Kamonyi and Gisagara districts then Kamonyi District won the match with 2-1.

In the interview with the Coordinator of Good Governance and Social Affairs in the Southern Province Mr. Jean Claude GAKUMBA he told us that this tournament happens every year and “this one aims at preparing the Liberation day that will take place on July 4th 2011.
