On 30th May 2010 in Huye District they have been a Southern Province security meeting which occurs as usually in every month, this meeting was headed by the Governor of Southern Mr NDAYISABA Fidèle. During this meeting the security committee have started by analyzing the implementation of decisions of the last month, then after they have passed trough the report of the crimes committed in May. The report show that during this month in the whole Province they have been 137 different crimes.

The District Muhanga comes at the top for the crimes committed with 38 cases, followed by Nyaruguru with 28 cases, the District with few crimes is Nyanza with 8 cases of crimes committed.
